Following the death of my husband I needed financial guidance in investments and planning for my future.

Paul did a complete review of our current position and obtained from us a full understanding of our requirements and expectations. He then provided a financial plan which included excellent graphical illustrations, which made it very easy to follow. This gave us the confidence to follow Paul’s advice. The proposed plan is in the process of being fully implemented, as my wife has now retired, and I retire at the end of June. Although this is currently a quiet period for financial growth, we are confident that the financial plan Paul has put in place will be successful. We also have Paul’s ongoing support to make any future changes that may be required due to market fluctuations. What could they have done better? At present, I do not believe that Paul could have done any more for us than he has already done. Paul’s financial advice has already exceeded our original expectations for this sort of service.

Now that I am self-employed, I needed to establish pension savings and having several occupational pension schemes from previous employers,  I wanted to consolidate them into one overall pension provision.

He explained things clearly, far more clearly than anyone had done in the past. In the intervening years, Paul has embraced new technology to enable him to explain things even better. With my previous adviser, I always felt that I was being kept in the dark a bit (or that I was being a bit thick). But now, to my amazement, I really do understand what my investment options are and why Paul is making the recommendations.
